The Fiery Cross: Our Hope and Our Victory

Our Church is in crisis, with hearts far removed from Jesus. We need to go back to the cross, and turn our focus on Jesus
"He summoned the crowd with his disciples and said* to them, 'Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me...'"
(Mark 8:34)"Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple."
(Luke 14:27)"...and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me."
(Matthew 10:38)"But may I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world"
(Galatians 6:14)"The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
(1 Corinthians 1:18)
We need to rekindle that fire to awaken and empower our Church --- we can only do that if we go back to the cross. By going back to the cross, we can become instruments to reignite the Church.
